Your coffee, your data.

This describes the current private preview. Updated 17 October 2026.

What the journal keeps

Your account email, saved coffee experiences, reactions, notes, taste-card preferences and optional retained photos are stored to provide your journal. Saved scan evidence and your corrections are kept separately. Your collection is private to your account; presenting a taste card shows it on your device and does not publish it.

Photos and label reading

When you choose to scan, the selected images are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to the configured model provider to read the label. Avoid including faces or other sensitive information. Manual entry does not call the model. One selected photo can be retained with an experience; retained photos are resized and their metadata removed. Extra scan images are used for extraction and are not retained as collection photos.

Services and access

Vercel hosts the app and runs requests. Supabase provides account authentication, the database and private photo storage. Photo links expire; someone with an unexpired signed link may still view that photo. The app operator has administrative access for maintenance and support.

Logs and browser storage

Operational logs record request identifiers, timing and error categories to diagnose failures. Application logs are designed to exclude photos, credentials and personal notes. Authentication uses browser storage and cookies to keep you signed in. This preview does not add advertising trackers.

Your controls

You can edit or delete individual experiences, download photos and export your collection as JSON in Account. Account deletion requires your password and removes your private photos and account records. Data remains in your journal until you remove it. Provider operational records may follow the provider’s own retention schedules.

Help during the private preview

Contact the person who gave you access for account or privacy help. Public signup and automated recovery email are not available in this preview. Keep a manual export of anything you want to retain.
